
Police cars zoom up to the Midwest Bank & Trust while filming a scene for CBS' The Line.
Driving into Wicker Park’s “crotch” (the congested six-corner intersection of Milwaukee, North and Damen Avenues) on a Saturday afternoon generally sucks. But this weekend, in particular, is especially painful. That’s because they’re filming a pilot episode for The Line, starring Michael Rapaport and Dylan Walsh. According to The Hollywood Reporter, “Line centers on an ATF agent (Walsh) who hunts down the most dangerous criminals. Rapaport will play a SWAT commander.”
I searched for filming records on EveryBlock but came up empty handed. I did manage, however, to shoot some shaky-cam iPhone footage of an unmarked cruiser and a Chicago blue & white peeling out across the intersection and up onto the curb in front of the Midwest Bank & Trust Co. building—complete with “cops” jumping out and drawing their “guns”:
