It’s time to kick cabin fever to the curb and cut loose. The long, bitter winter grip is finally letting go of stir-crazy Chicagoans and DJs Gogo, King Hippo and I (Tony Junior) are ready to accelerate that liberation with some warm sounds + imagery at Rodan. Now, I’ve blogged about Gogo before—and his frequent collaborator, King Hippo, is no joke either—so I’m super amped to play selector alongside such sonic talents. As King Hippo said, “we promise to capture the spirit of spring and paint your hearts with it”. Styles include: funk, soul, Brazilia, psychedelia, boogaloo and deep disco. Say WORD.
